Here are some new gum bichromates - the South Street series. This project documents the interesting life of a small insignificant alleyway in downtown Ashland. I have found that there is interest, and beauty there as well as the mundane.
I have been a full-time photographer for over 30 years, and currently have a portrait studio in downtown Ashland, Ohio. I am best known for my alternative photographic prints, primarily gum bichromates. I also do some VanDykes, Cyanotypes, and Albumen. I shoot with a variety of cameras - 4x5, 120 Holga, Canon 40D's and a camera phone. I'm not too picky as long as it makes a good image. I also like collage work, and will try to post some more of those in the future.
